Branding, website and social media templates for Lektorat Vanessa Wuzynski
05.06.2023
Maybe you still know her: our former intern Vanessa. She recently started her own business as a freelance editor and we had the pleasure of welcoming her as a new ideenKiND member! We helped her design a new logo and templates for social media as well as a new website.
The logo: subtle, elegant and feminine
Right from the start, Vanessa wanted a minimalist, contemporary and elegant logo. Preferably in the color gold, which looks high-quality and professional. It was also important to her that the logo was "self-contained", so we worked with a fine golden ring. The quill was also a symbol she explicitly wanted. It creates a link to writing and at the same time radiates a certain lightness and elegance. The fine handwritten font, which bears the word "Lektorat", picks up on the sweep of a quill. In combination with the matching sans serif font, the result is an all-round harmonious logo. :-)
Social media templates for Canva
Once the logo was ready, we designed social media templates for Vanessa's Instagram channel. We created these using the Canva tool so that Vanessa could then freely edit and adapt the templates herself. During the design process, we made sure that the seven templates that Vanessa ultimately received from us were as versatile as possible and could be used for a wide variety of content. The color scheme corresponds to Vanessa's ideas of soft, pastel colors and the design elements - gold-colored speckles, arrows and frames - pick up on the design of the logo and ensure recognizability.
Responsive website
As usual, it was important to us that Vanessa's new website was responsive and accessible. For the color selection, we continued to use the yellow-grey color combination that we already used for the social media templates. The content management system behind the website is Processwire(here we tell you why we love Processwire so much) and this ensures that Vanessa can independently adapt the content and sometimes even the design of the website. In terms of content, Vanessa's first own website was about being able to summarize her services, values and way of working in a short, concise and easy-to-understand way for her potential clients - and we think we did a great job! :-)
We are really super happy with the end result and Vanessa has also given us excellent feedback:
Vanessa's feedback
"As a freelance editor, I took the plunge into self-employment this year. I was sure from the start that I wanted to get support from Tanja and the ideenKiND team. Tanja's work is characterized by professionalism, passion and creativity. Communication is based on honesty and always takes place at eye level. The entire team always tries to realize the wishes of their customers. My wishes were catered to individually, so I am really proud of the end result. The collaboration was absolutely enriching for me on various levels and I am therefore looking forward to a long-term collaboration with Tanja and the ideenKiND team! "
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, dear Vanessa! We also had a lot of fun with you and your project and look forward to continuing to accompany you and your ideenKiND on your journey!
